Let’s come into the world of tea.Open your books.First, listen to the tape.While listening, two tasks: one is pay attention to the pronunciation the other is try to get the main idea of each paragraph.Then, match them.Read for details: for para.1: read by yourself.After reading, there are three questions…Then fill in the blanks together.For para.2 We began to know about tea over five thousand years ago, so what happened at that time?

Listen to the tape, a story about tea with some pictures.Through the pictures, students can understand the story easily.

After watching interact with teacher.A race about trying to be the first to answer the question.Read while listening

Read freely

Listen to the tape while watching the pictures about the story.

Be helpful for the understanding of the passage and make the atmosphere lively.To know the main ideas.It’s easy to understand the story according to the pictures.

For para.4:Books up, read the last paragraph together

Tea is not only a drink, but also a form of art and culture.After reading

An activity about the whole passage.Group work,A TV show, choose a topic for each group, ask one student to be the host, the other to be the interviewee,make a short dialog according to the hints.Step III.Writing

According to the subject, try to use the information you have known to write 4 to 6 sentences.Then ask someone to show.Step IV.Summary

We have learnt the story about the tea, the manners of drinking tea and the meaning of tea to Chinese.I think every one of us should keep and develop our tradition and be proud of it right.And Chinese are so great, we can also be proud of ourselves.Step V.Homework
