◆Step 1 Warming-up Watch a video about Old Friends. Ask the students to describe their best friend. Eg.She is tall/short.She is popular/serious/hard-working.→ be +形容词 She has long straight hair/ short straight hair.→ have/has...hair She likes reading/sports...→likes... ◆Step 2 Work on 3a 1.T:Wang Lingling and Liu Lili are best friends.Look at the chart and compare them.( 2.Ask several students to read out their sentences. | ||

1.Think of your friends.Make notes about two of your friends.One friend should be similar to you;the other friend should be different.

1.Let Ss write two paragraphs describing your friends.
2.Give Ss two examples.

Tell Ss to accumulate fantastic expressions.
3.Let Ss decide which classmate is better for the job according to their writing.
