Animal Farm

Animal Farm is a novel by George Orwell，published in 1946。Fueled by Orwell's intense disillusionment with Soviet Communism, Animal Farm is a nearly perfect piece of writing, both an engaging story and an allegory that actually works.After reading Animal Farm, I was surprised to find the shining talent of the author.I have to recognize that George Orwell’s word is so sharp and his view is so original.His vision of politic is so keen that it straight leads this book to succe.The book tells us a fable which is worth thinking over and over again.The animals had strong diatisfaction with the famers so under the lead of the pigs, though the revolution, they drove the original owner Jones away.Napoleon and Snowball ecame the core leadership.They reformed their leading mechanism in order to cash their promise that “All animals are equal!”

At first, they indeed had some wonderful days.They lived equally and happily.However, the peaceful days didn’t last long.The contradiction between leaders became sharper and sharper.After a series of politics changes, the animal farm could find their animalism back.The saying all the animals are equal, but some are even more equal.Animal’s life became harder.But as the result of their blind worship of Napoleon, they couldn’t think calmly.All they knew was to work harder.As you can imagine, the ending of animal farm is obvious…

In my opinion, the book’s art value is as significant as its society value.The author criticized the reactionary politics of socialism countries.Though living in a socialism country, I have to recognize that some socialism countries have their disadvantages indeed.Take Ruia for example, there’s no doubt that the unequal things were always happened and most of the people had expected Si Dalin a lot in Ruia.As a result, they forget their original intention of revolution.No one can deny that it was the sadne of a whole people.Politic is an abstruse problem for us students to talk.However this book makes the complicated question into a simple fable.It is really a succeful and meaningful work!In a word ,I love this book!

第3篇：animals 教案

Unit4 We love animals

教学目标：

1、学习新的动物单词pig, elephant, bird, mouse, bear。

2、能够听懂Let’s do 指示语并做出相应动作。

3、教育学生动物是人类的好朋友，大家应该保护小动物，保护我们的大自然。

教具准备：

L、教师自备的pig，elephant，bird，mouse，bear的单词卡片，图片和课件。

2、A部分单词的词卡和图卡。

3、关于 Lets do部分的图卡和录音带。

教学过程：

l.热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)

(1)日常口语会话活动。

(2)播放歌曲“Old MacDonald”，学生跟着音乐演唱三段歌词(包括增加的cats和dogs那两段)。

（3）复习以前学过的关于动物的词。(3)学生表演B部分Lets talk的对话。

2.新课展示(Presentation)

(1)听一听，这是什么声音？（课件出示）

通过播放动物的叫声，让学生猜一猜，调动他们的兴趣。进而导入单词的学习。

（2）教师通过课件、动物的图片和词卡来配合教学本节课动物单词。注意学生对mouth(嘴巴)和 mouse(老鼠)，bird和bear 的书写和发音的区别。

(3)为了巩固本节课单词的学习，可以在这里加一个小游戏，请学生到前面指着动物说出英语单词(每人一词)，然后对比单词的发音。发音对者，给予奖励，答错的，帮着纠正。

（4）再次加深学生对Lets learn部分单词的掌握，教师通过课件，再次向学生们展示单词的发音，学生跟读，并认读。

为了引出有趣，教师可以这样说：“动物马戏团现在正在表演，让我们看看有哪些动物演员正在演出？”

(5)为了提高学生的认读和引起高度的注意力，在这里增加一个“炸弹游戏”。在板书上某个单词（最好是最容易记住的）的旁边贴上一个画有“炸弹”的图，当老师习惯性地带领同学们读单词时，只要老师读到这个单词，有学生跟读，其余的同学就都向他发出“Pang”的一声。

(6)用课件形象地表示出Lets do中的动作hunt，walk，climb，fly，jump。对于“hunt”的动作，教师可用汉语加以解释，即“搜寻，寻找(猎物或食物)”的意思。

(7)请学生站起来，一边听Lets do的录音，一边做动作。

(8)学生跟读Lets do的录音，并做动作(可看课件上的图)。(9)让学生自愿上台表演，大家评出模仿最神似的，教师给予奖励。3.趣味操练(Practice)(1)游戏：向它那儿跑去(Run to it!)

首先，用图片和词卡练习本课的新单词。学生边读老师边把卡片贴在黑板上。将全班分成两队。给学生下一个Run to the bird.这样的指令。每队的第一个学生向带有鸟的图卡和词卡的地方跑，并且用手摸一下这两张卡片。哪组学生先摸到卡片就给他们队得一分。教师也可以用本课刚学的指令：Walk to„.Jump to „.Fly to„.等指令学生用相同的动作走(跳，飞)到卡片前。

(2)教师将读音相似的单词在课件呈现出来，让学生听读音，选出正确的图片。

(3)游戏：照我说的做(Do as I say)

教师发指令，全班同学起立做动作。做错的同学随时坐下。最后，哪组站着的同学多，哪组获胜。

教师参考指令：

Climb like a monkey/bear.Jump like a squirrel/rabbit.Walk like an elephant/duck.Hunt like a mouse/pig.Act like a cat/dog.Fly like a bird.为了增加游戏的难度和趣味性，教师可逐渐加快指令的速度。
