情感目标: 学习因果关系的表达和做出合理的建议。

教学流程 Step1 热身: 教师可结合P77-2a 进行热身活动。

教师问:1.If you have problems, what will you do? 2.What kind of things do you worry about? 3.Who do you usually go to for help? 学生互相讨论并回答问题 Step2 自主 教师利用图片或多媒体展示一些有关学生遇到麻烦的场景,并呈现部分新词汇。[来源:学&科&网Z&X&X&K] T:Linda is careless, she lost her wallet, what should she do? S1: She should call the police.S2: … T: If you have problems, what should you do? S1: I should … S2: … Step3 展示 结合上面的活动,引出2b的内容。

1.教师可出示一些 图片并介绍阅读篇章的背景,板书并教生词,让学生在语境中理解词汇的涵义。

2.Look at the statements below and then skim the passage.Which statements expresses the main idea of the passage? a.If people have problems, they should get advice from an expert.b.If people have problems, they should talk to other people.[来源:学科网] c.If people have problems, they should try to keep them to themselves.学生跳读后给出答案,全班核对答案。

3.教师让学生再读课文并回答2c中的问题:

1)What is the worst thing to do if you have a problem? 2)Why didn’t Laura want to tell her parents about her lost wallet? 3)What is the first thing you should do when you want to solve a problem?[来源:学科网] 4)Why can our parents give us good advice about our problems? 学生读完后,可小组讨论并制定出答案,教师核对答案。

4.让学生大声朗读课文后,找出课文中的重点句型并翻译。

1.Some people believe the worst thing is to do nothing.2.Unless we talk to someone, we’ll certainly feel worst.3.It is best not to run away from our problems.4.In English, we say that sharing a problem is like cutting it in half.等 5.让学生再次细读课文,根据课文内容完成2d部分填空,学生填完后,全班核对答案。

6.时间允许的话,让学生复述2d内容。
