第四单元 A DIY Bookmark for my Favourite Book

Last week I took part in our school's Reading &Bookmark-making activity。The purpose of the activity was to help us enjoy reading our favourite book。My favourite books are Harry Potter series。 I love science books and fantasy books。 I think Harry Potter series are magic and amazing。

In order to make a bookmark，I prepared a card，scissors，glue and so on。 First，I cut the card into long strips， And then I drew a picture of Harry Potter on the left and wrote a famous saying “Nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it。” on the right to encourage me not to give up when facing difficulties。 At last，I glued it to a thin piece of wood。

Although I met some difficulties in this process，I never gave up and I am proud of myself。

This term，we have two new selective courses，One is Travelling Course and the other is DIY Course。

On the Travelling Course，we can watch films to enjoy places of interest，such as the great Eiffel Tower in France。What's more，we can talk about different cultures in groups。For example，we can learn something about the differences between American English and British English。
