教材分析

2a-2c为阅读教学部分，介绍了一个偏远乡村孩子上学的故事。这一题材展现了偏远地区孩子上学的艰苦，目的是唤起城市孩子的关注，同时更让他们懂得珍惜自己的生活和学习条件。

学情分析

1.初一学生经过初一一学期的学习。已经有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力，知道一些关于交通工具的单词及一些英语表达方法，同时学生们对英语学习还保持着较浓厚的兴趣，也对各种交通工具有一定的兴趣。但是，本学期的英语文本阅读较长，学生的接受能力需要一定的缓冲去消化，还需要去积累更多的词汇去理解文本，减轻阅读障碍。

2.其次，文本信息过长，学生解读文本有一定的困难以及带来的困倦，教师可通过采用任务型教学，设置层层任务小组合作练习完成，达到冲关，让他们在轻松的氛围中通过具体实践的方式来学习新知识，能提高解决问题的能力及综合运用语言的能力。

教学重点

1.掌握重点词汇及短语；如：cross, river, many, village , between, between...and..., bridge, boat, ropeway afraid, like, villager, leave, dream, come true，between...and..., go on a ropeway to cross the river, run too quickly, for many students, one 11-year-old boy, be afraid, be like, many of the students, like this。2.通过读写，学生理解文章及能用英文信息回答问题，完成任务型读写，能提高综合运用所学知识的能力。3.谈论交通方式并熟练运用。

教学难点

通过读写，学生能够提高综合运用所学知识及在实际活动中运用所学知识的能力。

通过阅读此文，能够珍惜现有的学习环境，并尽自己所能为社会做贡献。
