实践周戏剧报告
Report On Tuesday, Mr.Qing made a report about drama for us.We were all immersed in his speech, because he is quite humorous.Firstly, he introduced the best known character in theatrical circles, William Shakespeare, who was born in 1564.Mr.We all know if we want to learn drama, we should know Shakespeare.Mr.Qing told us about William Shakespeare’s early life in detail. We learn that William Shakespeare wrote 38 plays ,like Hamlet, King Lear and so on,which can fall into 3 categories. They are tragedies、histories and comedies.I admire this person properly and I am very curious about how he could wrote so many great plays. In addition, not only plays, Shakespeare also wrote many poems.Secondly, Mr.Qing introduced the area of origin-----Rome.It is established in 753 B.C.For 200 years by Tarquin kings who were tyrants. The Tarquins were overthrown by Lucius Junius Brutus in the play.A democratic republic was then established which lasted until the death of Julius Caesar, who was born in 100 B.C.And died in 44B.C.He gained power and wealth due to a series of successful campaigns in which he conquered what is now Britain.France, much of central and eastern Europe, and parts of North Africa. Finally, he told us three ways to persuade, first is Ethos(credibility),which appeal based on the character of the speaker.Second is Pathos(emotion), which appeal based on emotion and advertisements tend to be pathos-driven.Third is Logos, which based on logic or reason. And then he used specific drama to analyze these ways.Through out his detailed analysis, we benefit a lot.In conclusion, I learn much knowledge from Mr.Qing’s report.I think I know what is drama and how to play a drama well.
