爸爸在家里种了一盆杜鹃花，他看着花盆，笑着对我说：“它开花的时候，会很香的。”我当时并没有在意，一场朗诵比赛正牵动着我的思绪。
爸爸得知这个消息后，鼓励我道：“为以后赢得更多的赌注大胆追求梦想吧！”但是我朗诵并不拔尖，想要拿到名次谈何容易，但我心想：也许最后不一定会看到花开的彼岸，但至少我曾努力过了。
隔日早上，我拿着泰戈尔的诗在窗前踱步，初春的早上并不温暖，还未退去的湿气让我心情沉闷。一想到朗诵竞赛就隐忍了下去。
